FORESTS
A forest is an area with a high density of trees (historically,an area set aside for hunting). It is a community of trees, shrubs, herbs, microorganisme and animal...
The most obvious living structure in a forest are trees.Generally,a forest contains a large number of different tree species growing to different heights. The trees take part in natural processes of nutrient cycling and water purification. They help to retain water,so heavy rains don’t run rapidly off forest land. There are numerous types of forest.Among them are rainforests, taigas, temperate hardwood forests and tropical dry forests.
